Schedule Choices
Our school serves children aged preschool through kindergarten: 3 to 6 years, (or 2.8 years by September 1 with teacher approval).
Our day is divided into two programs: morning and afternoon, Monday through Friday. The Ivies have a four-day minimum requirement, and families can customize this to accommodate their needs. This can be four mornings, four afternoons, a combination of mornings and afternoons or full days that include a morning and afternoon.

Kindergarten Year
Importance of a Montessori Kindergarten Year
The final year of this three or four-year-cycle is typically a child’s kindergarten year. Rather than starting at a new school with new teachers and a whole new set of expectations, they enter their kindergarten year with confidence; excited for what lies ahead! Older children become the leaders and step into their role with delight! For children who might be the youngest sibling at home, you can imagine how exciting it feels to be seen as a leader in your classroom “family”.

The mixed age groups allows the children to learn from each other, which enhances both social and intellectual development. Learning within this diverse group stimulates greater interest and encourages cooperation and growth.

This essential year is considered the "capstone" of a Montessori education and we hope all of our students participate in this rewarding educational experience.
